Olimpia Grodno (Belarus-Premier, 2011-13)
The rising star and long-term future of the Belarus national team, there's little doubt that the ‘94-born forward is the most talented player of her generation. Papova is already making a name for herself despite still only being 18. She excelled at the U20 European Championship last summer, helping Belarus into the quarter-finals and then followed this up with a fantastic season in EuroCup Women where she led Olimpia Grodno with 15.9 points-per-game and into the play-offs. Progressing quickly, she is still learning her trade under the basket and will be working to improve her finishing at the hoops and reducing handling errors. A great prospect nevertheless and has a great chance of being a regular at senior level. She is well-disciplined and has a razor-sharp mind on the court which means she reads and understands the game well. She's not hugely athletic but can make shots from outside and run the floor well. Her biggest decision will be deciding on her true position.
