Giedre Paugaite had a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds for Lithuania

Lithuania won 77-62 at Belgium on Saturday night for their third victory in Group C of the EuroBasket Women Qualification Round.

The Baltic side got their noses in front late in the second quarter.

Sandra Linkeviciene hit a jumper and Greta Sniokaite followed with a pair of free-throws for a 32-28 lead.

Gintare Petronyte took her points haul to 15 with a basket shortly before half-time to give the Lithuanians a 35-30 lead.

A lay-up by Sofie Hendrickx for Belgium left the home side trailing only 35-32 at the break.

Lithuania only led 44-40 with 7:05 left in the third quarter following two free-throws by Emma Meesseman of Belgium, but baskets by Kristina Vengryte and Giedre Paugaite pushed the Baltic team's advantage to eight.

By the end of the quarter, Lithuania were on top 58-49.

Algirdas Paulauskas' side pulled away in the fourth quarter, going in front by as many as 19 before winning by 15.

Center Petronyte led the Lithuanians with 21 points and eight rebounds.

Linkeviciene contributed 18 points and Paugaite scored 11 and corralled 11 boards.

Belgium slumped to their third straight defeat.
