Serbia rebounded from their opening game demolition in the Qualification Round for EuroBasket Women 2013 at the hands of Montenegro with an 88-64 triumph over Switzerland.

Trailing 5-4 early in the Group B game, the hosts scored six unanswered points to take the lead for good.

Milica Dabovic made a lay-up, Ivanka Matic sank a jumper and Marina Mandic sank two free-throws for the 10-5 advantage.

The little spurt sparked a 16-5 run that had the Serbians in command.

After going to half-time on top, 49-32, Serbia turned the screw early in the third quarter and stretched their lead to 57-32.

The rest of the contest was an exercise in damage limitation for the Swiss, who have now lost two in a row following their victory over Estonia.

Mandic finished with 18 points for the hosts.

She finished seven of 11 from the floor, including one of two from the arc.

Serbia's 21-year-old Nevena Jovanovic drilled four of seven shots from the arc and had 16 points.
